The life of a Nigerian Muslim woman is at stake following her opposition to the death sentence handed to singer, Yahaya Shariff-Aminu,
The woman ,unnamed, had taken to twitter to condemn the jubilation of Muslim faithful over the death sentence
According to her, only those who are immoral would rejoice that a man will die.
” There’s a great sadness in seeing Muslims jubilate over a death sentence of a person that has not even committed a criminal offence.”
” Even if you must agree with the judgement,it takes a level of depravity to feel elated that a man will be killed.’ she wrote.
Angry muslims who read her tweets cursed her and also threatened her life with her photos circulated suggesting she should face the hangman’s noose alongside Sharif-Aminu.
