Underaged cultist paraded with gun used in the Biafran Army 

The Anti- Cult Unit of the Anambra State Police Command have paraded Twenty suspected cultists including two persons aged 16 and 17.

One of the teen suspects,Echezona Metu,an SS1 student of Community Secondary School,Igbo-Ukwu was arrested with a single-barrel gun inside the school premises.

Metu said the gun belonged to his aged father who fought in the Biafran Army, and he was at the school premises with the gun to show to his classmates who were doubting him that his father was a Biafran soldier.

The state Commissioner of Police ,John Abang,who paraded the suspects at the Command’s unit in Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area urged residents in Anambra to always monitor the movement of their children and also take note of the kind of friends they keep

He assured of his Command’s preparedness in ensuring that the state is completely free of crimes and criminality.
