The Senate President, Godswiill Akpabio has announced principal officers of the Senate.
They are Senator Opeyemi Bamidele – Majority Leader, Senator Dave Umahi, Deputy Majority Leader.
Others are Senator Ali Ndume – Chief Whip and Senator Lola Ashiru, Deputy Chief Whip.
The position of Minority leader goes to Simon Nwadkwon of Plateau state,Oyewumi Olalere, Deputy Minority leader, while the position of Minority Whip and Deputy Minority Whip goes to Darlington Nwokocha and Senator Rufai HAnga respectively.
