Tragedy struck the Rumuekini Community in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on Saturday following the death of a father and his son at the site they were working.
A source in the community told current matters that the incident happened around the Pipeline area behind Today F.M this afternoon.
According to the source, the father was the first to go into the tank to work but didn’t make it out at the time he was expected to come out . The son out of curiosity of what might have befallen his father decided to go into the tank and met his own date.
It was gathered that other workers alarmed by their disappeance, checked in the tank and brought out their corpses.
The identities of the corpses were yet to be made known at the time of going to press.
