Niger Assembly shut as Speaker,Clerk test positive for coronavirus 

The Speaker of the Niger state House of Assembly,Bawa Wuse and the Clerk, Mohammed Kagara have tested positive for coronavirus.

Following the development,all members of the Assembly and staff have reportedly gone into isolation.

It was gathered that about two weeks ago, the member representing Gurara constituency,Binta Mamman tested positive which made the lawmakers and staff of the Assembly undergo Covid-19 test.

The test results revealed that only the speaker and clerk tested positive for the virus.
