Breaking: FG orders closure of bars,Night clubs,Event centres nation-wide,restricts churches,Mosques 

The Federal Government has asked all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) Abuja,to close all night clubs,bars,event centres, recreational venues and pubs for the next five weeks to hinder the rsing cases of covid-19.across the country.

The chairman of the Presidential Task Force(PTF) on Covid-19,Boss Mustapha who disclosed this on Monday at the PTF briefing in Abuja said President Muhammadu Buhari had authorised the PTF to engage the states and the FCT to assume full ownership of this stage of the response by deploying legal structures and resources including enforcement to bring the pandemic under control.

Mustapha said that Bars,pubs, Event centres, night clubs and recreational venues were super spreader venues for coronavirus

The PTF has also restricted formal and informal events such as wedding, conferences,seminars, sporting activities, and end of year events to fifty persons while Churches and Mosques are restricted to 50 percent of their installed capacity during prayers.
