The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC has ordered the Electricity Distribution Companies in the country to suspend the recent hike in tariff.
The Commission issued the order on Tuesday night.
The suspension followed an agreement reached by the federal government and Labour for the suspension of hike in tariff for 14 days
The order on suspension of tariff was signed by NERC Chairman,James Momoh, and the Commissioner, Legal, Licencing and Compliance,Dafe Akpeneye and addressed to the country’s discos.
