The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested one Yusuf Yakubu,28 ,for allegedly sleeping with his 13 year- old son.
It was learnt that the father of the boy lured his son to his house and forcefully molested his son. It took a concerned neighbour to report the matter to the police who arrived the scene and took the boy to the hospital.
The Command’s Spokesperson, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil who confirmed the incident, said on September 23 ,2020, about 1300hrs , one Usman Ahmed, of Unguwar Doya Gombe Road reported at A Divisional Headquarters, Bauchi that one Yusuf Yakubu,aged 28 of Bayan Ganuwa Yakubu Wanka Gombe Road, Bauchi, lured his son aged 13 to his house situated at Bayan Ganuwa area and forcefully had anal-sexual intercourse with him.
The Police Spokesman said on receiving the information,a team of policemen were drafted to the scene and the victim was taken to the General Hospital for treatment.
The suspect who was paraded along with other suspected criminals, reportedly confessed to the crime and would be arraigned in court as soon as Investigation has been concluded.
