The Vice president, Yemi Osibanjo has said that Nigerians are prepared to pay more if service delivery of electricity are fixed and higher.
Speaking through a webinar on Economic Sustainability beyond Covid-19 organised by Emmanuel Chapel, the Vice President said it is not true that Nigerians don’t wish to pay more for electricity but that they are dismayed by the poor services through the years.
The Federal Government had announced that it would hike tariffs on electricity in April but the coming of the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on Nigerians made government to shift it to a later date.
