NLC defies Court order,directs Labour Unions to mobilize for strike 

The Nigerian Labour Congress has askedl union leaders to mobilize at least 2000 of their members on Monday at the unity fountain in Abuja for the mass rally..

In a statement, the union said that members will also gather in Lagos at the same time for the rally in protest of the hike in electricity tariff and pump price of petrol adding that all Presidents and General Secretaries are to lead the rallies

The National Industrial Court of Nigeria had on Thursday ordered the Organised Labour comprising the NLC and the TUC not to embark on its proposed nationwide strike from Monday September 28,2020.

Justice Ibrahim Galadima gave the order in a ruling in an ex-parte application filled by the incorporated Trustees of Peace and Unify Ambassadors Association through their counsel,Sanusi Musa.
