The Federal Government has announced the extension of the public holiday for the celebration of the holy month of Ramadan to Thursday
The Minister of Interior,Mr Tunji Ojo made this known through a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior,Dr Aishetu Gogo Ndayako on Tuesday.
Earlier, the government had announced Tuesday and Wednesday as public holidays
However, Nigeria:s Head of Islamic affairs and Sultan of Sokoto Sa”ad Abubakar and the Saudi Authorities could not sight the moon to end the Ramadan fast and declared Wednesday as Eid – El Fitr.
