Senegal has requested that CAF provide an alternative training venue ahead of AFCON final with Morocco on Sunday.
In addition, the team has expressed frustration over ticketing arrangements, saying they were only allocated two VVIP tickets for the final and were restricted from purchasing additional tickets.
Senegal has called on CAF and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) to take urgent measures to ensure fairness, equality, and security ahead of the match.
Senegal booked their place in the final after a disciplined 1‑0 win over Egypt in the semi‑final. Sadio Mané scored the only goal, earning his side a spot in the championship match. Earlier in the tournament, Senegal topped Group D with victories over Botswana and Benin and a draw with the Democratic Republic of Congo, before progressing through the knockout rounds with wins against Sudan and Mali.
Morocco reached the final on home soil after a tense semi‑final against Nigeria that ended goalless and was decided by penalties. Morocco prevailed 4–2 in the shoot‑out to set up Sunday’s showdown.
Earlier in the tournament the hosts topped their group and advanced through the knockout stages with victories over Tanzania and Cameroon.
Both teams will contest the final at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with Senegal seeking a second AFCON title after winning in 2021 and Morocco aiming for their first continental crown in 50 years.
