The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved to the quarter final stage after beating the Minnows of Mozambique 4-0 in the ongoing 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
The match decided at the Fez stadium saw the Nigerian team scoring two goals in the first half, first by Ademola Lookman and second goal by Victor Osimhen. The third goal was also scored by Osimhen few minutes into the second half while Akor Jerome Adams scored the fourth goal.
The knockout stage was history making for the Mozambique team as it was the first time the team would reach the stage .
