
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.
They were arrested in the Lokogoma axis of Abuja following actionable intelligence linking them with alleged internet-related crimes.
Items recovered from them include 13 phones of different brands and one international passport.
The suspects will soon be charged to court.
·In the same vein, the
operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Akwa Ibom State.
They were arrested on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Afaha Offot, Ikot Atuen, Abak, and Nwaniba areas of the State through an intelligence- driven sting operation.
Items recovered from the suspects according to the commission include, 19 mobile phones and three laptops.
The suspects will be charged to court after investigations.
