Five people have been confirmed dead in a building collapse on Friday night at Ubingwa Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia state.
Seven persons were said to be working at the site of the Ill-fated three – story building which has reached the roofing stage when it caved in killing five of the workers.
Current matters gathered that two of the workers were lucky to escape as soon as they heard the sound of the crack of building.
