The Court dismissed the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sandy Onor, for lack of merit..
Reacting to the judgement in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Ogbeche, Governor Otu

The governor therefore extended a hand of friendship to the opposition, especially, the People’ s Democratic Party’s candidate, Prof. Sandy Onor to join his administration to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
