
Sweden has qualified for the quarter finals after beating the American team USWNT in the ongoing FIFA Women’s Football Tournament in Melbourne, Australia.
The encounter which led to a goalless draw after more than 120 minutes was decided by penalty kicks in favour of the Swedes.
Swedish goalkeeper,Zecira Mus’ovic’ was spectacular as she took crucial steps to deny the Americans, chances to net the ball.
The Swedes will play Japan in the quarter finals on Friday.
Earlier on Sunday, Netherlands crashed South Africa’s hope with a 2-0 victory to zoom into the Women’s World Cup quarterfinals.
