Father of Joy Mmesoma, the candidate who faked her Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB result,Mr Romanus Ejikeme, has apologised to JAMB and Nigerians admitting that his daughter lied to him .
Mr. Ejikeme had earlier accused JAMB of trying to humiliate his daughter and give her scores to someone else.
His apology comes hours after Mmesoma confessed to faking the result.
An eight-man panel of inquiry set up by the Anambra state governor, Prof. Charles Soludo to investigate the issues surrounding the trending result controversy also indicted the 19- year – old candidate of manipulating her JAMB result.
