
The Federal Government on Monday said Egypt has opened its borders to Nigerians fleeing Sudan Conflict.
This was made known In an update via Twitter,by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
The Commission said the opening of the border was due to the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari adding that Nigerian Air Force is ready with the NAF 130 plane already on ground in Aswan, Egypt to airlift evacuees.
“With the intervention of President Buhari, Egypt has finally opened its border to Nigerians fleeing Sudan,” the commission tweeted.
Earlier, on Monday, NIDCOM, had via its Twitter handle disclosed that the Egyptian border was yet to open for Nigerian students.
