The All Progressives Congress APC says Chief Victor Giadom and Chief Itah Udosen remain Vice Chairman and Secretary of the South South zone respectively.
In a statement issued late Sunday night, and signed by Barrister, Friday Morka,APC National Publicity Secretary, the party voided the action of some zonal officials passing a vote of no confidence on the duo saying they did so without constitutional backing.
On Saturday, zonal officers had converged on Port Harcourt to hold an extra ordinary meeting reported to prioritize a primary agenda of pushing out those they identify as reason for failure of the party at the recently concluded polls in the region.
In a communique signed by no fewer than ten officials , the party at the zonal level passed a vote of no confidence on Giadom and Udosen and resolved to adopt measures that would turn the party around.
