The National Association of Rivers State Students has suspended its election scheduled to hold on Saturday January 22,2022 . The union also passed a vote of no confidence on its Electoral Committee( Eleco) Chairman, Siyeofori Ogan for gross misconduct.
In a 5 point communique at the end of its meeting on Thursday, January 20 and signed by 6 out of the 7 blocs, the union advised all aspirants to desist from having any business with the chairman warning that anyone who fails to comply does so at his or her own risk.
It added ” All correspondence should henceforth be directed to the Eleco Secretary.”
