The Member representing Shinkafi Constituency in the Zamfara House of Assembly, Muhammad Ahmad has been assassinated by bandits
Ahmad was the Chairman of the House Commitee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation.
A statement issued on Wednesday morning in Gusau by the Director- General,Press and Public Affairs of the Assembly, Malam Mustafa Jafaru- Kaura said the lawmaker was taking his son to a hospital in Kano on Tuesday when the bandits killed him at Sheme in Katsina State.
According to him, the bandits also kidnapped the lawmaker’s son and driver .
