Nyesom Wike,Govrernor of Rivers State and Chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council, has said that he was shocked by the comments made by Bola Ahmed Tinubu blaming Obaseki as being responsible for the political crisis in Edo State.
The Governor also reacted to comments made by former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC,Adams Oshiomole that Edo people should not vote for Obaseki saying that Oshiomole lacked the moral compass to tell the Edo people what to do
Wike obviously infuriated by Oshiomole’s attack on Obaseki’s credentials at the APC rally in Benin City on Saturday,,labasted the Former APC Chairman and former governor of Edo State of not being on the same pedestal with Obaseki as Obaseki is a graduate of a known tertiary institution while he Oshiomole, professionalised in tailoring .
He said” Oshiomole should tell the world,I went to school,look at my certificate.l challenge Oshiomole,go out and tell Nigerians, this issue of me not going to school is getting too much.i went to secondary school look at my result..”
He said Oshiomole is in no position to tell the Edo people not to vote for Obaseki because he had 3 credits in his school certificate examination saying, that Edo people have not forgotten what he said about Obaseki”A man he said was the brain box and without him he would not have achieved what he did, You think that you say something here today and say another tommorow?Edo people will vote Obaseki”
” If Oshiomole was good.will he be suspended by his ward chairman?If Oshiomole was that good,your own ward chairman will sispend you and the court upheld it?.”
