Buhari postpones trip to London , reportedly grants APC Caretaker Commitee tenure extension 

President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his trip to London the United Kingdom.

The President was scheduled to travel today, June 25 to London for a medical check as a Press statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Thursday indicated.

A statement on Friday by Mr Adesina said a new date of travel would be communicated

Meanwhile, the President met with the Buni- led All Progressives Congress APC Caretaker Committee behind closed doors in what is believed to chart a way forward for the ruling party.

Unconfirmed report says that the President had endorsed the extension of the tenure of the Caretaker Committee for another six months.
