Two term Senator, Peter Nwaoboshi has decamped from the People Democratic Party PDP to the All Progressives Congress APC.
Nwaoboshi whose defection was made known by a personal assistant to President Buhari, Buhari Salau on Friday morning via his face book page was received alongside the APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman,Mai Mala Buni and the Deputy Senate President,Ovie Omo- Agege by President Muhammadu Buhari at the villa.
Nwaoboshi , who represents Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate was before his defection to APC suspended by the Delta State chapter of the PDP for anti-party activities.
Nwaoboshi had described the purported suspension as laughable saying that the State Working Committee lacked the constitutional powers to suspend Governors and members of the National Assembly.
