
. The Senate has adjourned sitting until April 13
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan made the announcement on Wednesday shortly after concluding proceedings of the day.
Lawan said” The Senate will proceed on it’s Easter break but our committes will continue to do their work.
The joint committee that is considering the Petroleum Industry Bill ( PIB) is working very hard to ensure that we receive the report.
He said although the plenary is closed work will continue at the commitee level.
