Former Minister of Information and Culture, Prince Tony Momoh has passed on.
He was aged 81.
Momoh served as Minister under the military administration of General Ibrahim Babangida .He was also a founding member of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
Momoh was a celebrated journalist who started his journalism career as sub-editor at the Daily Times in October 1962. He rose through the ranks today become Editor and Deputy general between Nine 1976- May 1980.
