The Finance Minister along with the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, presented President Tinubu with the document in his office at the presidential villa in Abuja on Thursday.

The development comes two days after the organised labour, comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC ended their indefinite nationwide strike they embarked on Monday to demand an increased minimum wage for workers .
The leadership of the labour unions suspended the strike on Tuesday for five days after signing an agreement with the Federal Government to resume negotiations and come up with a new minimum wage within a week.
