Hoodlums on Wednesday afternoon invaded the palace of Oba of Lagos located at Iga Idugaran
The attackers in their numbers carted away vehicles and other valuables including the Oba’s staff of Office.
The thugs were said to have vandalised the Oba’s palace after setting Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu ‘s family on fire.
In justifying their action, the hoodlums reportedly claimed that the King was a politician and deserved to be punished for the problems of the country.
Current matters gathered that the Oba has been evacuated from hs plalace to a safer place.
Meanwhile series of violence have been reported by thugs who have set many government establishments on fire.
Some of the structures destroyed include the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) office in Marina Lagos, attacks on police stations and burning of toll gates.
According to reports,more than twenty people may have died in the last 24 hours.
