The Nigeria Police Force has approved the redeployment of the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Anthony Okon Placid, to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja.

In a corresponding development, the Officer-in-Charge of the Complaints Response Unit (CRU), Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Isuku Victor, has been appointed as the new Force Public Relations Officer.

The changes were conveyed in a Police Wireless Message signed by the Force Secretary and circulated to relevant departments and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.

The PRO of the Nigeria Police Force headquarters is responsible for coordinating the Force’s public communication and media engagement activities.

CSP Isuku Victor, who takes over as the new FPRO, previously headed the Complaints Response Unit, a department established to receive and address complaints against police personnel and improve public accountability within the Force.

The redeployment is part of the routine administrative and strategic personnel adjustments within the Nigeria Police Force aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.
