Former US First Lady and Secretary to State, Hillary Clinton has asked President Buhari and the Nigerian Army to stop killing EndSARS protesters.
Clinton made the call on Twitter on Tuesday evening following reports of shooting at young protesters in Lagos .
“I’m calling on@mbuhari and the@hqnigerianarmy to stop killing young#EndSARS protesters.” She tweeted.
Reports of shooting at Lekki, where EndSARS protesters gather went viral. Unconfirmed number of protesters were reportedly killed and many injured by security agents who fired live bullets and teargas at the protesters..
An eyewitness who spoke to current matters said.
” We converged here as usual but they cut off the street lights and started shooting at us. A lot of the people who came here were wounded and taken to the hospital . Some of them even died.I saw two men lying on the floor .
