The Lagos State Government has ordered a probe of the shooting at the Lekki toll gate where many protesters were reportedly shot and killed..
Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu gave the order in a statement signed by the Commissioner of Information, Gbenga Omotoso.
Sanwo-olu urged security agents not to arrest anyone because of the curfew in place and urged residents of the state to remain calm.
The governor had imposed a 24 hour curfew which began at 4pm Tuesday.
