
The Nigerian Airforce says it has decimated 7 armed camps and neutralised close to 100 armed bandits in airstrikes between Saturday September 12 to Wednesday September 16.
In a statement, the Airforce said that the operation was aimed at taking out some identified locations in Zamfara State including their forest hideout flying over 100 operatioal hours.
The statement adds that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadiq Abubakar has urged the team to sustain the intensity of the operation in order to deny the armed bandits safe haven as well curtail their ability to attack innocent civilians.
