Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafran, Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday unveiled a Biafran flag inscribed with a Jewish star.
Kanu who posted this on Twitter said the new design is an acknowledgement of our ERI heritage .It is beautiful and thought provoking,what do you think?
The Post has generated mixed reactions,Many kicked against the Jewish inscription saying, “We are not Jews no matter how hard you push it,and please research the true symbolism of the six point star, King David never had a star.It is simply symbolises satanic and demonic worship.”
Some argue that by inscribing the Jewish star,IPOB is far from upholding the freedom of association and beliefs saying” The inscription is not accepted because it is not Biafra in nature.We are not loyal to any religion or nation but to God Almighty”while others also disenting said, the IPOB leader should focus more on core issues that would lead to a country of their own and not triviial matters like flag and claiming to be part of some other country.
However, others argued that there was nothing wrong with the inclusion of the star, adding that there was no need to bicker over the issue.
