Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has asked President Buhari to sack the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Godswill Akpabio to show that the president is not in support of corruption.
Fayose in a tweet on Friday said that the Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei must also be relieved of his position.
The former governor alleged that the two men had been celebrating the success of their drama with hot pepper soup and assorted drinks.
” With this level of fraud exposed in NDDC, Buhari must sack Akpabio now”. He said.
The National Assembly had investigated the Interim Management Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission .NDDC had asked Pondei to answer questions bordering how some money acruing to the Commission was spent, while the drilling was going on, Pondei slumped and was led away from the green chamber.
