The West African Senior School Certificate Examination WASSCE earlier scheduled to start on August 4 will now begin on September 5, 2020.
The Minister of State for Education,Chukuemeka Nwajiuba made the announcement on Friday.
He explained that the decision was the outcome of a meeting between the Federal Government and officials of WAEC”s office on Monday adding that both parties have agreed to further consiult with four other countries on the new examination date.
