A,Port Harcourt High Court on Friday the Nigerian Police Force from arresting the former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC,Joi Nunieh,
The Court under the jurisdiction of Justice S E Thompson also extended the arm of protection by granting an ex-parte order and restraining the Niger Delta Development Commission and other agencies from arresting Nunieh, pending final conclusion is made by the court.
Joy was said to have secured the restraining order with the help of her counsel, Sylvester Adaka,who sought the orders of court before the restraining order was issued.
It would be recalled that Nunieh”s residence was invaded by armed mobile Policemen said to have gone to her residence for official duties on Thursday.
The invasion it was gathered made the governor of the State, Wike to go to her residence to rescue her, he then took her away to Government House Port Harcourt
