American rapper and media personality,Belcalis Marlenis Amanzar also known as Cardi B has offered to help the parents of Jarvits Frimpong, the 15-year old Ghanaian school boy whose life was cut short by suspected bullies in school.
Frimpong was reported to be on his way to school, The DreamYard Preparatory School in the Bronx,New York when he was chased and shot in the stomach. He was rushed to St Barnabas Hospital where he was confirmed dead
Expressing concern over the incident and the pain the parents are currently subjected to ,. Cardi B said to ameliorate the plight of the family, she has decided to” support the family by purchasing a small house for them in Los Angeles.
Her statement posted on X on Monday read:
“I’ve spoken with my management team, and we’ve made a decision that comes straight from the heart.
I can’t imagine the pain Jarvits Frimpong’s parents are going through. No parent deserves to bury their child, especially a child who left home chasing a better future and a brighter tomorrow.
I’ve decided to support the family by purchasing a small family house for them in Los Angeles, getting them a brand-new car, and establishing a $300,000 empowerment fund to help them rebuild their lives and secure their future.
I know money can never bring Jarvits back, and nothing we do can replace the son they lost. But if there’s anything I can do to ease their pain and remind them that they’re not alone, I will do it.
I also want to encourage other wealthy individuals, celebrities, business leaders and people of influence to come together and support this family.
Today, it’s Jarvits’ family. Tomorrow, it could be anybody. Let’s use our blessings to make a difference in someone else’s life.
