The Nigeria Police Council has confirmed Usman Alkali Baba as substantive Inspector General of Police.
Baba succeeded Mohammed Adamu on April 6,2021 after Adamu’s retirement in February and extended by President Muhammadu Buhari was stopped.
The IGP hail’s from Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State .
