Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, June 5, 2026, reserved ruling until June 9, 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.

Blessing is standing trial on a two-count charge filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC, bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing to the tune of N36 million.

She is accused of defrauding a complainant of ₦36 million in 2024 under the guise of leasing a duplex in the Lekki area. Obtaining money by false pretense and stealing. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Her defense counsel stated in court that she has already refunded ₦24 million and is attempting to settle the remainder, but the EFCC opposed the request stating it is not privy to any private settlements and the prosecution will proceed.

She was remanded in EFCC custody. On Friday,June 5, 2026, the Federal High Court in Lagos heard her bail application and reserved its ruling until June 9, 2026.
