The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, CP Miller Dantawaye has paid a visit to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Victor Olaiya, psc(+) to strengthen security in the zone.
The Zonal Spokesperson, ASP Halima Mohammed, said the visit was part of efforts to strengthen operational collaboration and deepen the professional bond between the FCT Command and the Zonal Headquarters.
“In the course of the meeting, both senior officers deliberated on key security issues affecting the Zone, with a focus on enhancing intelligence sharing, joint operations, and community policing initiatives”.
The AIG commended the Commissioner of Police for his dedication and proactive approach to maintaining peace and order within the FCT.
He further assured of the Zonal Headquarters’ continuous support and supervision in line with the vision and strategic policing agenda of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D.
According to Halima Mohammed, “The visit was a fruitful one, marking another step towards stronger teamwork and improved security for the people of the Federal Capital Territory and beyond”.
