Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have arrested Tajudeen Baruwa, president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), for alleged homicide and criminal conspiracy.
The command’s Spokesperson,Josephine Adeh, confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Friday.
She said “He was arrested along with 21 others for alleged criminal conspiracy, public disobedience and culpable homicide”
“All will be arraigned in court at the conclusion of the investigation” she added
The arrest came after two factions of the union clashed in Abuja on Tuesday during which one person was reported dead and several others injured.
