Unknown gunmen have killed the senatorial candidate of the Labour Party for Enugu East senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu .
The development comes barely three days to the start of the general elections.
Current Matters gathered that the gunmen also killed five supporters who were with him inside his car.
The victims were reportedly attacked at Amechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area on Wednesday evening.
