POLICE ARREST ONE SUSPECTED CULTIST; DISRUPT GATHERING IN FEGGE, ANAMBRA STATE 

The Police Command in Anambra State says it has arrested one suspected cultist after breaking into their gathering at Abagana Street, Fegge, Onitsha.

A Statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga said a 25-year-old suspect, Chinedu Ike was caught in the police net while others fled the scene.

The command noted that the suspect allegedly confessed to being a member of the Vikings Confraternity.

The Commissioner of Police, Nnanna Oji Ama, has directed that the case be transferred to the Violence and Cult-Related Crimes Unit for further investigation, while efforts are on to arrest the fleeing members.

The Command urged the public to always provide useful information for prompt action.
