Rivers State Governor,Sir Siminialayi Fubara has approved the deployment of Barrister Christopher Green, Commissioner of Sports To Oversee the Ministry of Justice as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
This is contained in a statement signed by Honour Surawoo, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications on Tuesday.
The statement said his redeployment notwithstanding, Barrister Green will continue to oversee the Ministry of Sports pending the appointment of a substantive commissioner.
The redeployment which is with immediate effect was approved by the final executive council meeting for 2025 and aimed to strengthen governance and ensure continuity in service delivery.
