Suspected Bandits have kidnapped two Chinese Nationals working on the BU A Bode Saadu – Kaaima-Kosubosu multi billion – Naira road project in Kwara State.
The incident reportedly occurred along the Bode Saadu axis of Moro Local Government Area. Reports further indicate that the bandits stormed the construction site, shooting sporadically before whisking the victims into the forest
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, who confirmed the incident said officers have been deployed and are working “round the clock” to secure the release of the kidnapped expatriates.
He urged members of the public to support security agencies with credible information to help curb bandit activities in the state.
