Mele Kyari, the immediate past Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the NNPCL has been released after hours of Interrogation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC .
Kyari was detained after he honoured an invitation of the Commission’s headquarters in Jabi ,Abuja on Wednesday.
He was said to have been quizzed over financial and technical transactions linked to $ 7.2 billion refinery Turn Around Maintenance project.
He was released late Wednesday night.
A Federal High Court had last month temporarily frozen four of Kyari ‘s Jaiz Bank accounts in connection with the investigation.
