Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has given a cash reward of N50million and keys of a three- bedroom bungalow to Pwanidi Madugu, Coach of the victorious Super Falcons.
Madugu, described as an underdog in soccer coaching hails from Adamawa state.
Handing over the largesse to Madugu Fintiri obviously delighted said ” It is a proud moment for us in Adamawa that one of our own has led Nigeria to victory on the continental stage. His technical intelligence and focus have brought honour not just to Nigeria but to Adamawa state as well”
The governor spoke on the importance of sports and reiterated his administration’s commitment to develop sporting and talents.
