People go about their businesses every day without harassment, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State said on Saturday.
Mbah was speaking at a Town hall meeting as part of the programme during the official visit of President Bola Tinubu to the state .
The governor said his state had stopped taking orders from criminal elements who forced a sit at home on residents and highlighted key projects embarked by his administration designed to bring sustainable development to the state.
Earlier, President Tinubu while commissioning projects said that the Mbah administration shares the same passion as his and commended him for the projects which he said would secure lives and property, encourage investment and boost the economy of the state.
Projects commissioned include, The Enugu Mall, International Conference Centre, Security Vehicles and some schools and roads.
