The Court of Appeal has discharged and acquitted the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen from charges bordering on assets declaration preferred against him in 2019 which led to his removal as CJN
The court also ordered the unfreezing of his bank accounts in standard chartered bank, Wuse, Abuja.
The consent judgment is the outcome of settlement terms, reached by counsel to the Federal Government and the former CJN.
